“Roddrick? Is that you?”The old man says
A man comes from the shadows. He looked 19 or 20 years old. His hair was gelled up into a fohawk. He lets out curse words as he flips a leather motorcycle jacket on his back.
“You else do you think it could have been?” Roddrick says
“Perhaps that loose legged slut you are always barking at” the old man responds at he picks his bag back up and begins to walk again. Roddrick grims at the remark and tilted his head up to the moon. The partially shown moon shined on the two as they walked across the bridge.
“I actually can’t find Anna and sunrise is coming. “ Roddrick looks up and down the street “I shouldn’t have hit her. Fuck.” [He pauses to pull out a cigarette out of his jacket ]“I can be such a jackass at times”
“she….will recover..like new as always…It’s almost 6…uh…you…take care…ill finish setting up” [the bag was heavy but the old man kept pushing along.] “Have taken care of the public safety?”
“Yes all the Wayne state police drank it yesterday night.”[ He lights his smoke] “It wasn’t that hard actually. They love energy drinks. I even got a few cadets too.”[He saw the old man switch the bag from one shoulder to the other] “You need any help there?”
“No” the old man barked “I can handle it”
“You sure I can tell when my little brother needs help”
“Well as you can see I’m not so little anymore. Help me finish setting up and we’ll find Anna ok?”
Roddrick nods and the two walk across Matthaei’s parking lot

Chuk lets out a big yawn as he sleeps on one of the social room couch. His long body left his legs to dangle over the side. The sun beams through the window. Chuk rolls over knocking the remote control on the floor. Bang,Bang,Bang at the front door. Chuk ignores it and lets out a really big yawn. Bang,Bang,Bang the person at the door begins the speak
“OPEN UP IT’S THE POLICE”
Chuk jumps up and looks around. Wondering what could it have been that the pike did wrong this time he started to pick up any beer cans but then after thinking that cops can’t give him a MIP because he is old enough so he stopped. He goes over and opens the door to a 4 men. There were two cops, one on either side of the old man and the young man. The old man was a big guy and Chuk would have laughed at the fact that he was holding an umbrella for the smaller younger one if the cops where not present at the time. “Um” Chuk said as he looks everywhere but at the cop’s eyes “what seems to be the problem officer?”
Roddrick steps forward and speaks “I’m looking for a girl. Her name is Anna have you seen her?
“You know, I should probably get Deandre for this. He is the president you and all” Chuk says as he walks off to Deandre’s room playing with his Blackberry phone.
Seconds later Chuk come back with Deandre behind him
“Yeah these guys are looking for some named Amy or Anne or something”
“Anna” Deandre looks at Chuk then to Roddrick and the cop “the Chick with the Venom drinks
In a very polite attitude Roddrick says “Yeah we have a really big promotion going on at noon over at Matthaei and I know she came here before she went to the bar so I figured I’d just stop by and pick her up myself” he looks up on the steps and sees her come from the right side. “Speak of the Devil. There she is.
Anna walks down slowly keeping her body out of the light. Her movements made her look drunk. She finally made it down to the foyer and ran to her place under the umbrella.
“aww did baby girl have too much to drink” Chuk sticks his finger out to poke her. Anna snaps her teeth at him so fast that he jump a little
“Careful” Roddrick says laughing “she bits”
“yeah I see” Chuk says “so do we get any Venom or do we have to go to the presentation
“you know the presentation is gonna be boring ” he moves closer to Chuk the umbrella and Anna follow “its all about STDs and Drug use and you know I can tell Chuk you are a straight shooter and that a lie you guys got a freakin’ planned parenthood next door to tell ya. But I like you Chuk Officers can we get Chuk couple of cases of venom. You want some Deandre?”
“Yea sure I got a bunch of them already from Anna but ill take some more”
“How do you like them?” Roddrick says. He winks towards Deandre
“They taste pretty good” he winks back at Roddrick “what did you say your name was again?”
“oh I’m sorry the name Roddrick but you guys can just call me Rod. You meet Anna already and the big guy is Joe.”[An officer returns with 3 cases of Venom and hands them to Chuk.] “Hey you make sure you pass those out to everyone for the party ok?” he says jokingly to Chuk
“Yeah, Yeah, Yeah I got you no problem” Chuk says as he walks towards the kitchen.
Roddrick instantly turns to Deandre he looks him up and down. He gives a Smile and a kiss to Anna. Who glaze stared up onto the stairs as if looking for someone to show. Roddrick turn to the old man and gave him a face that said ‘well, what do you think?’ the old man nodded back and Roddrick turned back to Deandre.
“Deandre” he said with glee in his voice “can you do me a favor?” Roddrick asked already knowing the answer
“Yeah sure what’s up? Deandre responded normally. There was not robotic sound in his voice, no sound of a pawn he sounded normal.
“Deandre could you put your hand in the light” Roddrick asks but it sounded more like an order.
“Yeah no problem” Deandre responds as he puts his hand in the sunlight. At first nothing happens. You can hear Roddrick and The old man take a deep breath in. but then out of nowhere smoke appears in his hand.then a small flame.] “Can I pull my hand away now?” Deandre asks as he hand catches a flame
“yes yes I’m sorry” he turns to Joe “ This slave thing I got to get used to” he turns back to Deandre “ Deandre I suggest you stay out of the sunlight it doesn’t do good things. Also tell you brothers that the police are your friends and that they should trust them. Capiche?”
“Oh yeah that’s no problem” Deandre says as if there is nothing wrong. He looks down at his right hand and rubs it
“Oh don’t worry about that drink more Venom and you will feel a lot better. I’ll be seeing you later ok” They walk out the door. Joe was so wide and tall that he has to squeeze through but the shade was enough for Rod and Anna to get though with ease. ]
“Well?” Rod asks Anna
“Well what?” Anna asks back
“What took you so long?” me and Joe where worried
“You were worried I didn’t give of fuck” Joe said holding the umbrella tighter. The sound of sirens makes Joe tilt his head up. An army of Wayne state police come flying down Cass. The cars break off at every apartment structure. The men come up full stacked in armor head to toe. No part of their body was exposed to the light. Joe turned the Roddrick. “What going on, Roddrick? He asks looking at the cops across the street. They were pulling and push Wayne state student in their cars and driving away.
“See, I just can’t trust that students will make it to my speech on free will basics especially because I’m really doing this on a last minute time frame. I had my boys pick up a few for my project. I need King to see that I am 100% serious about this.”
“This is why you are my brother” Joe gives Roddrick a hug with his free hand “because you are not afraid to go balls deep.”
The sires go off and Wayne state student scream but no one does anything Roddrick gives a tight squeeze to Anna and asks “Hey, are you hungry baby?” She takes one last back at the pike house then back to Roddrick.
“Yeah I could eat” she says as she hugs Roddrick back.
