Blood Corridor: Part 6

A constant tap can be heard in medical room of Matthaei. An ink pen taps the side of a wall. Roddrick’s eyes jump from one wall to the other. His hand bouncing the pen on the wall. It looks as if he is watching a tennis match. His eyes stopped at the clock on the wall opposite him. It was 3:21. He puts his hand on his head in frustration. He lets out a hiss like sound; he is in an enormous amount of pain
“What the fuck is wrong with you?” Roddrick shouts as he pushes a young girl off of him.
“I’m sorry I was trying to...”
“What? Eat my dick” he pulls his pants up. “Stupid bitch”
“I’m sorry” she says again “I was only trying to please you”
Roddrick walks up to her and grabs her by the throat and says
“Well let me give you a little advice.” He pushes her body up against the wall “less teeth”
Screams can be heard down the hallway. Joe was lifting weights in the workout room but stopped when he heard the screams.
“Shit what the fuck now?” he says as he drops two 100 pound dumbbells on the ground. “You seem pretty calm Albert why is that?”
Albert was at the other end of the workout room. Charlie and Jayme were both lying on a weight bench unconscious.
“People have been screaming all morning I’m starting to feel sick.”
Joe gives a heartily laugh “what’s this sudden feeling of guilt?” he laughs as he heads for the screams. Joe walks down the long hallway. Several students were huddled around a dead girl with brown hair. They were all taking bites out of her. Eating every part of her. It almost creeped out big ol’ Joe. They pulled the girl’s skin until it ripped like paper. Joe walked past them without looking back.
“OWW”
One of the students bit Joe’s arm.
“You stupid fuckin’ fiend!” he yelled. Joe snatched his arm back and smacked the student in the head. You don’t eat me you got it” he was talking to him like he was a dog. “Got it?” The student looked confused for a moment but then shook his head. Joe turned toward the screams down the hall. The student kept shaking his head then he started to follow Joe.
“Ow…why you little motherfucker” Joe swung around, the student had jumped on his back and was biting his neck. Joe flipped him to the ground. “You don’t listen do you” Joe snaps the student’s neck and it falls to the ground. Joe looked up. The screams had stopped. Joe looked at the rest of the students. They continued to snack despite the fact of their fallen comrade.
“Did you hear where that scream came from...Jesus!” Joe walks in to the medical room with Roddrick
“Yeah sorry you know how bad I am with women.” Roddrick says
A girl lay on the ground; her eyes stared blank in the air. Her mouth was filled with blood. Joe noticed she didn’t have any teeth.
“So I take it this was your doing?”
“Yup”
“What you do to her”
Roddrick went to the sink to wash his hands “I ripped her teeth out.”
“Which ones?”
“Every one.” Roddrick gets down toward the girl and drinks the blood coming from her mouth. “Is Albert finished yet? I feel like I have waited on him forever.”
“I doubt it plus you need to tell your little friends to calm the fuck down” Joe shows him his bite mark. “One of them bit me. I think he honestly thought he could take me down. And have you looked in the gym. It’s a mess fresh blood to these kids is like crack”
Roddrick goes over to one of the gym windows and looks inside.
“OooO quite the mess huh?” Roddrick looks over to his brother “maybe the good old professor can tell us what’s going on?”
“Dear Albert, you have been fuckin’ up care to explain?” Roddrick said as he entered the workout room
Albert takes off his glasses and looks at Roddrick. “How? How have I been fucking up?”
“Albert how long is this supposes to take? You said the ELOHIM process should take only about 45 minutes. It’s been” he looks at the clock on the wall “2 hours. Now come on Albert you trying to pull a fast one on Roddrick.”
“NO” Albert yells but at the sight of Roddrick’s eyebrows raise makes him lower his volume “no. No… its just they are drained of their fluids I’ll have to re-supply them. Get them back in their prime form.
“Albert you could just kill both of these fucks and use what ever blood for the ELOHIM”
“I can’t it hasn’t been tested anything could go wrong. You should be thanking me. “
“I’ll thank you when I’m a god.” He looked over at Charlie and Jayme. They were strapped down with blood being pumped into their mouths. “Those two should be good without you right?
“Well yes I have given them a huge dose of sedatives even with me giving them fresh blood. If they wake up they’ll be numb from head to toe.”
“Fine then come with me” they enter the gym “you mind explaining what the hell went wrong here?”
Albert’s eyes widen and mouth dropped.
“What have you done? What have you done?”
“”I gave them blood that’s what you told me to do”
“Damn it this is what happens when you don’t have proper testing”
Blood was spilled all through out the gym. It was a mess. Students were eating other students. Roddrick laughed as a fat kid ran and got pounced on by 4 infected students.
“My god how long has this been going on? Who was in here watching them?” Albert asked
“Well I have been inspecting some of the women. I am looking for a new queen.”
“Any luck with that” Joe asked
“Sadly no. Why weren’t you in this room?”
“Ever since you gave them blood they have been giving me the creeps.”
Albert’s eyes jump from student to student “we….we need to run some test...you there”
Albert calls for a student “you! Hey you!”
RAHHHH
The student gives him a growl like a dog. Albert jumps back behind Roddrick
“Um could you ask him to come with me? Tests we need to have tests”
“Fine” Roddrick says with a sigh “you go with him”
The student complies and walks with Albert. The second they leave the gym Joe hears another growl and a scream. Albert comes running back in the gym.
“Um do you mind coming with me?”

”Albert, do you mean to tell me that your own monsters scare you?”
“Very much so, now do you mind”?
Roddrick doesn’t respond he just gives a smile and walks out the gym door. The students all turn towards Joe as the door shuts.
“Oh damn I should go too”
As he hurries to shut the door students smash into it.
The students run wild in the gym. Throughout the chairs madness was in charge. It was like a party. Students were dancing, screaming couples were making out in a corner, and many were eating the flesh and blood of another student, all except one. A mysterious figure walked down the Wayne State gym looking at either side. The figure was big and tall making him very noticeable through out the crowd. The Wayne State mascot was walking up and down the aisles. Students pointed and laughed but none attacked maybe it was due to his green skin. As they laughed the “W” threw something small in each student that it passed mouth. In the Mascot’s right hand was a bottle of white pills.
Charlie and Jayme lay on the weight bench completely unconscious as the tube of blood flowed into their mouths; every few seconds Charlie would close his mouth and lick his lips. As their fate seemed to be already unfairly decided a familiar sound of a whistle was heard. Chuk walks right pass the weight room with a can of venom in his hand. Jayme gives a small cough and Chuk stops whistling. He peers inside the room. It was dark; the windows in this room were covered up as well he thought. He saw two bodies on a weight bench. He looked down the hall. A group of students were still eating the remains of a girl. He opens the door and looks inside carefully.
“Hello?” Chuck asks but no one responds.
Chuk closes the door and hits the light switch. He looks over towards the bodies.
“Charlie and Jayme?” it was quite the unexpected pair
He shakes them but they give no movement. Chuk takes the tube out of Jayme’s mouth. . Blood pours out on to the floor.
“Awww that’s fuckin disgusting”

“Hey wake up”
He slaps Jayme then Charlie then both of them at the same time. Jayme opens his eyes first.
“Wha…what’s going on? Where am I?”
Then Charlie
“Oh phck mun. Wut hap paned?”
“First you should take that tube out of your mouth” Chuk says as he pulls the tube out of Charlie’s mouth. Blood flows out of it too on to the floor
“No don’t take that it tastes good,” Charlie says
“Hey man shit just got real we gotta get out of here come on seriously both of you”
“What man Chuk is being serious?” Jayme commented
“Yes man” Chuk gives a laugh “ what do you think is going on right now? You are laying on a workout bench, there a good 300 students looking like straight crack heads and you won’t even believe the shit I overheard this dude Roddrick say”
“Roddrick!?!” Charlie and Jayme say together
Charlie gets up and puts his foot down to stand up.
Bam
He falls to the ground. Jayme tries to get up but can’t even move his arms.
“AHHH” Charlie screams “What the fuck”
“What? Can you move?” Chuk asks
“Chuk if I could move would I still be lying on the ground right now?”
“Na w I guess not”
Jayme throws his hand up “Chuk give me a lift”
Chuk picks him up “Can you move your legs?”
Jayme says “Nope”
Chuk says, “Damn”
Charlie says, “Fuck”
Albert put a flashlight in the student’s eye. First the right then the left.
“Ok what’s your name?
“Justin” the student answers
“Justin what? If I may ask,” Roddrick says
“Justin Crutchfield sir.”
Roddrick laughs, “Now that’s a good soldier”
Albert looks at a chart, Roddrick pulls out a cigarette.
“Ooooh I have been craven one of these”
Justin looks at the cig. “Hey do you mind if bum one of those”
Albert writes down a few things then looks back at Justin.
“Why sure I never mind a smoker on school grounds.” Roddrick offers him a Cigarette. Justin looks at the Cigarette box
“What kind of Cigarettes are Red Apple?”
“The best my friend.” Roddrick sparks a light with a match and puts it to his cig.” The best”
Albert’s noes flinch. He gets up and snatches the cigarette out from Roddrick’s mouth and steps on it. “I hate smoking”
Justin pushes Albert to the ground
“WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU ALBERT?” Justin and Roddrick yell together
Albert gets up and dust of his pants.
“Well that is peculiar”
“What? What is?” Roddrick asks
Albert looks at his charts then back to Roddrick.
“Well that virus you stole from me. It was a toxin designed for making mind slaves. Making people do what ever you wanted without anyone getting curious. But when you added your Vampire blood I only expected the subject to gain a tiny bit of vampire traits.”
“And” Roddrick said sounding impatient.
“Well it appears that Justin, as well as the others have gained another trait. Your basic emotions affect their output. If you are sad they are sad. If you are happy they are happy. If you are mad they are mad but not mad about the same things they could get mad at something little like coffee or pizza, or a bagel.”
“What’s with all the food?”
“I’m sorry I am getting hungry but I couldn’t even think of eating with the sight of blood still framed in my head. Uh. The point is that they are emotionally attached to you as well”
“is that necessarily a bad thing?”
“Not for you no. But the more they drink blood the more connected they are with you. So if they were to continually drink blood in theory one such as yourself could eventually be able to control them with your…. Oh my”
“What Albert? What?”
“In theory one could eventually be able to control the subjects with your mind.
Roddrick smiles “now that sounds very god like very god like indeed” and claps he looks up to his brother Joe who smiles back at him.
Albert tosses his head to the side and pukes.
“What’s wrong Albert? You have to learn to live a little”
Albert laughs, “that’s funny live while thousands die” he says sarcastically “I’m going to check on the vampire specimens”
Albert goes for the door
“Albert you remember what you always used to tell me. [Albert stopped where he is] you remember. You used to say to me that my blood was the future.
“Well it appears my words were true”
Albert turns away but Roddrick grabs his arm tight before he leaves.
“If you try anything I’ll paint this city red….with your blood” Roddrick lets his arm go. Albert doesn’t look back and walks down the hallway with a fast pace to Charlie and Jayme.
As the ‘W’ passes out the white pills, tossing them in the mouths of students, a Cop spots him from the other side of the gym.
“HEY YOU!” the cops screams
Other Cops look up too. Some were standing doing their jobs keeping watch. Others had their helmets off and were eating with the students. The ‘W’ looked to the left then looked to the right then ran full speed to the back door. Cops all around ran after him. Gutterson happened to be one of those cool kids to receive a white pill from the ‘W’ but hadn’t yet gained the affects of the drug, was still snacking on the pinky toe of a large football player. Zach and Danny were also two of the lucky few to get a pill. They sat in their chairs looking dazed. Blood was dripping out of Danny’s mouth while blood dripped from Zach’s hands. In an instant Danny snapped out of it.
“What?”
He had an awful taste of something salty in his mouth. He couldn’t make it out what it was. Blood. He put his hand in his mouth to see if he was bleeding anywhere. He wasn’t but he noticed 4 of his teeth had increased ever so slightly and they came to a sharp point. Zach was the next one to snap out of the trance. He stood up. His eyes looked around at the Vampire party. He appeared brave on the outside but on the inside was absolutely terrified. Gutterson was next after Zach. He stopped chewing instantly. The football player was clearly dead having half of his face chewed off but Gutterson was still too terrified to move. When he looked down and saw that there was a toe in his mouth he opened it slowly. The toe was completely missing only a small numb was visible. He stuck his tongue out in disgust.
The three got up.
“Uh…what are the chances that we all died and went to hell?” Zach asks nervously.
“Um I would say um 3 to 1 maybe 50/50 maybe um…we are probably in hell,” Danny says.
An infected student gives a growl toward the 3. The student gets up and jumps for Gutterson’s leg. Gutterson shouts
“AHHHH WHAT THE FUCK HELP?”
Zach grabs Gutterson’s arms and pulls. Guttereson’s body hovered in the air.
AHHHH
Gutterson’s screams alerted the other infected students. Danny grabs a metal folding chair and smacks the student right in the head. Danny looks at the student’s face it was Robert.
Robert unfortunately missed out on being one of the cool kids with a white pill. He laid on the ground looking as if Danny had knocked him out cold.
“We have to get out of here”
“Yeah I agree I think I just peed a little” Gutterson admits
Chuk tossed Jayme on his back and picked up Charlie. As they moved to the exit they run in to Albert.
“Oh my…” Albert says
:”Sorry old man got to be quicker then that.” Chuk responds.
Chuk knocks him onto the floor and heads for the hallway. Chuk looks down the hallway. The Cops guarding the main door were gone. He saw his opportunity and thought to take it until…
BANG BANG BANG
Gunshots were heard on the other side of the building.
“Wait” Albert says, “I know of a back way. Follow me”
Roddrick and Joe ran out of the room into the hallway.
“Now what the hell do you think that was,” Joe asks
BAM
The Wayne State Mascot opened both gym doors. It kept moving straight for the locker rooms. It passed Joe and knocked over Roddrick.
“Well what the fuck, what is that thing?” Roddrick says in anger
“I don’t know looked like a turtle without a shell or something” Joe responds
BANG BANG
Bullets fly past Joe and Roddrick. One actually lands in Roddrick’s head
ARGGGGG
Roddrick puts his hand on his head. He looks at his hand to see that he has in fact been shot.
“Simpletons” he called them. His face looked like a lion’s with his faukhawk hair. He ran up to the first cop; grabbed their gun and shot him in the face. He snatched another and pulled him to the ground. Roddrick bit his nose off.
“Now someone want to explain why I was just shot?” Roddrick asks
Several cops stood outside of the gym doors. One comes forward.
“Sorry sir the mascot you see we saw him,” The cop stops speaking when Roddrick puts his finger in the air.
Roddrick looked on to the floor. Little white pills were on the ground. He picked one of them up.
“Little white pills from a little white bottle” He looks to Joe “ forget about the mascot where’s Albert”
“Which way should we go?” Gutterson asks.
The 3 made it to the back of the Gym.
“I know a side exit door over by the baseball field,” Zach said
“Do we have to bring him?” Gutterson says as he looks behind Zach and Danny
“Yeah he is your brother isn’t he?”
Zach and Danny each had a leg of Robert in their hands. They were dragging him behind them with little care for his head bumping into things.
As they exited the gym quietly, their hearts were beating fast until a familiar face ran into them.
Chuk smiled and laughed.
‘Nice to see the cavalry has arrived. I’m not trying to stay in this freak house any more…”
“Hold on we need to cover their skin ‘less you want your friends to burn at first contact with the sun” Albert adds.
Albert takes off his lab coat and throws it over Charlie’s, Chuk and Jayme’s head
“Alright I see a problem with this already.” Chuk says
“ Look we don’t have much time just walk I’ll point you in the right direction”
Roddrick turns down a hall and sees all 8 of them leaving out of the exit.
“ALLLBERT!!!!” Roddrick screams
“Shit what the fuck was that” chuk says walking around in the wrong direction
“Chuk over here” Zach and Danny scream
Chuk hearing their call turns in their direction. He is walking slow trying not to bump in to anything. Roddrick runs towards him in blind furry faster then any normal human. His long fangs grow even longer. His eyes stay focused on Albert. He doesn’t blink.
“Gents I think we have over stayed our welcome” Albert say “ Lets get out of here.”
Albert is the first through the door followed by Danny and Zach carrying Robert.
Gutterson grabs Chuk’s arm “Chuk come on man lets get out of here”
They exit out of the side door. The sun’s rays flew down to the ground as they run across the field.
“GET… OVER… HERE!” Roddrick scream
Roddrick runs outside. The sun instantly burns his skin. Flames pop up on all parts of his body. Despite the pain, Roddrick grabs underneath the lab coat. Jayme falls to the ground.
AHHHHHHHHHHH
Jayme instantly gains movement. He jumps up as flames appear on his skin. Not being able full control of his body he falls. The guys shouts his name:
JAYME!!!
Albert and the others turn around. Roddrick picks up Jayme and takes a dive for shade under the landing of the building.
Albert screams “Roddrick let him go. It’s me you want”
“No Albert I do not care for you any more.” His voice was much deeper now. “Let’s play a game Albert”
Albert sighs “Fine Roddrick what did you have in mind?”
“How about I {breathing hard} let you live for now. And I’ll give you ‘till sun down. Do we have a deal?”
“fine just give us the boy”
“no deal old man this one belongs to me” Roddrick walks back into Matthaei staring at Albert. He snaps his teeth at him and shuts the door. Chuk tosses the lab coat off his face.
“Wha….What happen?”
“You lost Jayme Chuk” Charlie says
“Yeah Chuk what the fuck were you thinking? Zach adds
“Damn shit was hard. You try carrying two fully grown ass men by yourself”
“Alright Alright. Come with me and I can explain everything. And we will get your friend back” Albert looks at the unconscious Robert “I can fix him too if you want”
“That would be nice” says Danny “Where we going?”
“My laboratory, please come, with your help we can stop this.
The fellas agree and walk towards campus with Robert’s head banging on the cement.
“Retards, Dirt-Bag illiterate Dick-Weeds.” Roddrick was dragging Jayme thru the gym. Student stopped where they were and came to his aid.
“hey is there anything I can do for you?” A student asks
“Eat shit” Roddrick responds
His face was still smoking
“You all are useless pieces of dog shit. I should kill you all”
A girl walks up to Roddrick “hey um Roddrick is there anything I can do for you?”
“can you suck a dick?” Roddrick asked
“I…ummm…I”
“we’ll talk later”
Roddrick dragged Jayme all the way to the medical room.
“hey where are you taking me dude?” Jayme says
“No. now’s my time to ask the questions.” He punches Jayme square in the face so hard that his head goes through the wall.
“Who are you?” Roddrick punches him again so hard that blood rushes out of Jayme’s mouth
“I’m Jayme dude” Jayme says breathing heavily
Roddrick puts his hand on Jayme’s neck and squeezes.
“And what about your friends who are they.? Chess club, high school friends, members of the Glee club?”
Roddrick eases his grip on his neck
Jayme coughs “they…are my Frat brothers man, shit get off me.”
Roddrick’s nostrils flinched “what frat are you in Jayme?”
Jayme coughs blood ”fuck you”
Roddrick punches him a third time so hard that Jayme’s head goes completely through the other side. Roddrick let him fall to the ground. Jayme was too weak to move still.
“You were saying?” Roddrick asked
Coughs are the only think Jayme lets slip out of his mouth. Roddrick goes to pick him up until
“Pike…I’m a Pike or damn {cough} you are a fuckin’ ass hole
Thoughts fly through Roddrick’s head. ‘Pike? Pike house? Deandre’
“How about that black guy who was also bit by Anna is he to a pike?”
“yes”
“what’s his name?”
“I don’t know”
Roddrick puts his hand on Jayme’s back and pulls on his rip cage
AHHHHHH
“HIS NAME IS MARCUS. OK MARCUS”
“Very good Jayme. You know you entertain me you got balls” Roddrick picks Jayme up and tosses him on the counter “I would also like to thank you for delivering to me fresh Vampire blood.”
Several hours later…
Marcus’ phone rings. Marcus lies in a bed sleeping. Bats fly all around. Anna picks up the phone.
“Hello who is this?” Anna ask
“Who is this?” James responded “ I’m looking for Marcus is he around”
“I’m sorry Marcus isn’t really available right now”
“What do you mean Marcus isn’t available right…” “who is it” Anthony asks
James puts his hand up on the phone “I don’t know sounds like a secretary or something.” James goes back to the phone “alright then miss can I ask what your name is then?”
“My name is Anna” says Anna
“Ok Anna can you do me a favor and let Marcus know to call me back it’s an emergency.”
“Ok James that seems possible”
“That seems possible? Um ok talk to you later Anna” he hangs up the phone “it was some weird chick named Anna”
“Hey can you guys untie me?” Brian asks
Cameron pulls at the rope wrapped around Brian to make sure is tight.
“Naw i have seen way too many zombie movies to know that when a person gets bit they turn into a vampire.” Cam says
“Hold on let me….” But he gets interrupted by a scream
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH
They three guys: James Cameron and Anthony run to the Foyer. Brandi stood there next to Audrey. Cupcakes were all over the floor and on the dead cop.
“I brought snacks for the party” Brandi says to the boys sounding shaken up.
“Oh” James says in a delighted sound when he heard the word cupcake but then he said “Oh” again when he remembered that they where having a party tonight…
